As a Product Design (PD) Technical Program Manager for VR Product Engineering at Meta, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the product development cycle to develop industry-leading VR hardware systems. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience working as a technology development program manager for consumer electronics.
Experience with mechanical system development, validation and characterization processes.
Description（岗位职责）
Partner with the PD engineering team, enabling the definition and execution of hardware.
Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs.
Manage communication within and between internal engineering and external teams.
Develop milestone schedule, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks.
Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.
Manage delivery of hardware for the development builds and ensure qualification to meet mass production timelines.
Coordinate and drive engineering deliverables, including specifications and test plans.
Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success.
Up to 20% travel.

2+ years experience working in a mechanical engineering field preferred.
Experience being a source of team morale, composed and effective in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and projects.
Knowledge of program and issue tracking and version control software.
Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development projects.
