Summary（岗位介绍）
The Regional Environmental Engineer is responsible for environmental compliance assurance across RL locations and partner sites. The ideal candidate has broad environmental knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced research and development environment. This role will lead and complete tasks in all environmental aspects (air, waste, wastewater, and hazardous materials management) to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, chemical management, dangerous waste, storm water, air compliance, wastewater and emergency response, including some on-call support.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
7+ years’ experience leading environmental compliance assurance.
BS/BA Degree in environmental or chemical engineering, environmental studies, or related field.
Knowledge of state and local regulations within the environmental field.
Description（岗位职责）
Lead technical oversight for all new processes and equipment as related to environmental compliance at RL locations and partner sites
Prepare and manage technical content for environmental specific training
Lead incident and emergency response events including on call, after hours
Conduct routine waste disposal inspections and removal, including dangerous waste
Evaluate facility for potential regulatory obligations including necessary operational permits and reporting requirements
Manage and prepare routine monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory and business reports
Partner with health and safety, lab personnel, facilities and cross-functional to understand new tools, process and equipment that may impact environmental operational permit obligations
Ability to travel up to 15%
