Summary（岗位介绍）
Meta is leading innovations in AR/VR space, specifically in display, vision and optics areas. The innovations are first of a kind and requires significant human and equipment capital (CapEx). This role will play a key part in defining the supply base, equipment and program costs. This role is for someone who is willing to move into unchartered territories and challenge the status quo.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Engineering or Technical BS degree or equivalent experience in supply chain
10+ years of experience in sourcing or related operations disciplines, with knowledge of CapEx-equipment and fixture-sourcing management
Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
Understanding of factory operations, industrial processes and root-cause/corrective-action methodologies
Program- and schedule-management experience, and demonstrated history of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Description（岗位职责）
Support the development of RL’s global CapEx equipment sourcing and management strategy
Communicate and execute the strategy with equipment suppliers
Develop partner selection strategy with cross-functional stakeholders, including RFQ/RFP, sourcing strategy and final supplier selection
Negotiate NRE and unit cost to ensure best-in-class cost for our products. Actively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional effort to achieve it
Conduct analyses of historical spend data and suggest savings opportunities maximizing financial impact for future products and provide expertise for developing budgets
Participate in the management of equipment and fixture assets at Meta’s contract manufacturers, including traceability and spare parts to ensure continuous operations
Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage our partners’ capability to grow the business
Enable the cross-functional team to collaborate with their counterparts on the partner side to ensure open, efficient and professional relationships
Develop deep understanding of the automation and advanced testing equipment industry and report learnings to internal team members
Lead the supplier QBR process focused on exceeding Meta’s KPIs and continuous performance improvement
Participate in hiring, training, developing, and sharing best practices in executing our CapEx management strategy and achieving significant cost improvements
Up to 25% travel required
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Masters or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain, business or any related field
Experience in equipment used in precision optics, displays and vision
Experience in engaging with emerging technologies, evaluating buy vs. make analysis
Experience in managing complex cross functional relationships
Experience in managing highly ambiguous situations and leading the teams to a decision
