At Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the AR Display Module Team. Your job will be figuring out what we need to do within your program to build it. You’ll be a critical member of the Display Module team, identifying long term trends, driving the design process, removing barriers to enable your team’s success, communicating progress to all stakeholders and ensuring the big picture stays in focus while delving into the details on specific technical issues. In this role, you will work closely with internal R&D teams and cross-functional teams, external partners and vendors. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to tackle unfamiliar situations with curiosity and tenacity, while able to inspire and influence team members at different levels of experience. Display Module TPMs must excel in many areas including communication, organization, strategic planning and technical understanding which will lead to providing customers with the best user-experience in the industry for AR/VR products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, or related fields.
5+ years of technical program management experience (or similar role) in the semiconductor field leading complex display or other optical component/module/system programs.
Experience in design and process aspects of display or other optical systems.
Experience with new technology/product introduction (NTI/NPI) and technology transfer.
Experience communicating technical information to non-experts, at all levels of the organization.
Description（岗位职责）
Take ownership of programs on advanced display components and modules for AR displays.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, testing, quality, procurement etc.) and vendors, on development of display modules which includes short to long term planning, concept proof, and NTI to mass production execution.
Operates at different levels of ambiguity, from high-level strategic planning (technology selection, organizational structure, commercial partnerships, investment) to tactical project management (prioritization, schedule creation, milestone definition and execution, and deliverables management).
Breakdown the complexity of deep technical programs to enable a clear understanding of scope and deliverables to a wide audience of team members.
Identify the resources needed and work closely with team leaders to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks.
Act as the main channel of communication in key formal discussions that involve technical team leaders, cross functional and external partners, and other members of the organization. Lead program milestone reviews and present project status to the executive team.
Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities to meet product requirements, and partner with the operation teams to establish a robust and scalable ramp up strategy.
Be able to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
