Self-motivated and organised with excellent communication skills
Strong C/C++ programming and problem solving skills
Experience with one or more GPU APIs (Metal, DX12, Vulkan, CUDA, OpenGL and/or OpenCL)
Experience with scripting languages, such as Python
Experience with one or more GPU or CPU hardware architectures desirable
Architecture validation and/or design verification knowledge desirable
GPU/CPU performance analysis experience desirable
Experience with GPU API capture and analysis tools desirable
Availability for 6 months or more is preferred
As in intern in this team, you will work closely with architects, micro-architects, modellers and design verification engineers to verify Apple’s GPU architecture. This will include interpreting functional specifications, refining coverage requirements with stakeholders and designing workloads to verify new GPU features in pre-silicon environments.
You will have the opportunity to learn about GPU architecture, graphics/compute APIs, modelling and production quality verification workflows. You will contribute to the understanding of Apple’s GPU architecture strengths and weaknesses, ensuring features that ship in Apple Silicon are robust, fast and power efficient.
