The Hardware Research organization at Reality Labs is looking for a Camera Systems Engineer to join our Computer Vision Systems team. This candidate will have experience of leading high-performance camera hardware development from concept to production at the research hardware scale. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team composed of some of the best engineers, research scientists and leaders defining the field of AR/VR.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
BS/MS/PhD in Optics, Imaging Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
More than 3 years of hands-on experience in camera hardware development over the full product life cycle from product definition to NPI.
In-depth knowledge of camera module design principles and best practices with understanding of image quality fundamentals and their system drivers.
Knowledge of camera module manufacturing process and lens manufacturing process.
Data analysis skills with JMP, MATLAB, Excel, or other analysis software.
Working knowledge across the following areas with detailed experience in at least five: 1) Standard imaging interfaces and protocols in the typical consumer platform. 2) Compact lens optics design & testing. 3) Use ZEMAX/Code V software for analyzing and simulating image quality of camera imaging system. 4) Image quality evaluation methodology (test algorithm, chart, lab setup). 5) Camera module mechanical design and tolerance analysis. 6) Camera module electronic circuit design, signal integrity and power integrity analysis. 7) Image sensor characterization and design. 8) ISP and image quality tuning. 9) Depth sensing hardware development. 10) Advanced camera module manufacturing process development.
Description(岗位职责)
Define engineering requirement specification for design, test, manufacturing and sourcing of camera module, lens, optical filter and other camera components.
Interact with cross-functional engineering teams (System Architects, Industrial design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sensor Technology, Technical Program Management) for camera hardware development and system integration.
Lead manufacturing partners on camera hardware design evaluation, prototyping, qualification and production bring up.
Lead camera sub-system validation and testing (including image quality, lens optics, optical filter, electrical and mechanical testing, reliability) in both internal lab and at manufacturing sites.
Failure analysis and debugging of camera hardware at both module and system level.
Create proof of concept camera hardware around the latest camera hardware technologies.
