Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Technical Program Manager leader in this team, you will be managing and growing an existing team of TPMs to drive delivery of packaging programs across hardware. This includes driving end-to-end program management of the packaging portfolio for your product vertical, development of the tools and processes necessary for on-time, high quality launches, driving new process initiatives, and ensuring teams across the organization are on track to deliver on long-term strategies that impact your product vertical.
The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple cross-functional teams, as well as building and growing an organization of TPMs. You will have a well-rounded technical background, with experience developing consumer device packaging. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to manage the team, develop and drive strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and help to get the job done.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of experience managing a program management team
Experience in growing organizations and developing a team culture
Experience landing strategic initiatives cross-functionally through communication, relationship-building, and influence
Knowledge of hardware development processes and best practices
Description（岗位职责）
Responsible for people management of a TPM group working on complex and multi-faceted packaging for consumers
Responsible for hiring, developing, delivering performance reviews, providing continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
Assess employee performance frequently, address under-performance, and recognize and promote performance
Help the TPMs on your team develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, strengths, and work styles
Work closely with dedicated recruiting staff to expand the team, participating in conferences/events, and onboard new employees
Work with the team to develop end-to-end project plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress
Work with engineering and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the product vertical
Ensure appropriate risk management and change management is performed on projects
Create strong cross-team partnerships and be able to communicate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team cross-functionally
Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify and mitigate potential setbacks
10% international and domestic travel
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years of experience with building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers
8+ years of experience in Technical or Engineering Program Management
BS in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering
