We’re looking for an experienced media and marketing leader to join our in-house Global Media Team as part of the Reality Labs Marketing Organization. The Global Media team at Meta Reality Labs has scaled significantly as we’ve expanded our marketing efforts across our family of apps and services. This role will lead Integrated Communications Strategy for Reality Labs including all associated hardware products such as Meta Quest, Meta Portal, RayBan Stories, and Metaverse among others. You will be a key member of the Reality Labs Global Media Leadership Team, and report directly into the Global Director of Media.
This role will be responsible for leading distribution strategy of all messages and provide thought leadership and recommendations of how best to connect with our consumers across Paid, Owned, Shared and Earned Media. This person will also manage and partner with our external media agency to execute this strategy and drive business results through in-market plans.
Our ideal candidate is an innovator who can lead Integrated Communications Strategy, advise and oversee execution, effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional leadership, and establish operational excellence to maximize impact across the team.
15+ years of experience developing and leading integrated communications strategies, media plans and campaign execution
7+ years of people management experience, including experience managing other people leaders
Knowledge of industry trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research
Knowledge of consumer and cultural media trends
Experience planning and executing consumer communications campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, across multi audiences
Partner with cross-functional leadership to demonstrate innovation in Communications Planning and Media Strategy
Build strong working relationships and leverage your influence with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Creative, Insights & Analytics, Social and Brand Strategy in order to develop holistic, impactful and integrated work
Serve as a credible expert internally to represent distribution strategy across paid, owned, shared & earned channels
Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to influence the audience and media strategy and recommendation, and inform tactical planning, execution and optimization
Oversee and drive the development of strategic media strategies and plans to deliver innovation and business outcomes. Define the media metrics for success
Manage a team of Integrated Communication Planners to deliver the work in a timely and consistent manner
Steward your direct team’s development and career growth
Partner with the Global Media Leadership team on strategic portfolio/team wide initiatives that will up-level and deliver best-in-class outputs across the organization
Help to intelligently scale the Integrated Communications Strategy team, while establishing operational best practices around plan development, media investment management, systems and tools and streamlined measurement
Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives
Knowledge of industry tools such as MRI, comScore, Nielsen
Experience working in-house with a global consumer technology brand
