We are seeking a Research Program Manager to fuel the development of next generation learning, play and entertainment experiences that will create an enduring and nurturing positive impact.
The Research Program Manager will be responsible for synthesizing multiple research studies, managing communications and coordinating resources across the research program. Do you possess sharp analysis abilities, superlative organizational skills and keen attention to detail? Do you have a knack for zooming out and seeing the critical path and big picture? Essential to the role is the ability to empathize and to advocate for customer needs data-driven stories. In depth knowledge of primary and secondary research operations and timelines
Exceptional written and visual communication skills— both as a primary author and master editor and improver
10+ years leadership and mentoring experience with strong commitment to developing talent and teams while fostering a nurturing work environment and positive morale
Experience in designing and conducting studies, data analysis, and results delivery for qualitative and mixed methods research—can talk the talk and walk the walk!
Ability to lead data analysis and synthesize findings into insights that inspire creative direction and decisions
Presentation skills to hold an audience and effectively communicate with specialists across many diverse job functions, such as producers, scientists, designers, engineers, business partners, etc.
Content production experience desired; experience working with both entertainment and education content a plus
Experience working with a global customer base a plus
Knowledge of research with specialized populations, such as children & teens and knowledge of child development helpful
Develop project schedules, manage dependencies and coordinate workstreams
Sense opportunities to conserve resources and enhance efficiency across work streams, while maintaining a creative, thoughtful and warm culture
Supervise internal communications through the development of visually compelling decks on critical topics to inform and educate cross functional teams
Solicit and synthesize feedback from collaborators to support a unified, consistent vision
Facilitate internal brainstorm sessions and synthesize of findings and next steps
Supervise subject matter experts, researchers and vendors to create a shared and cohesive knowledge-base
Organize and track research instruments and data from multiple sources
Ensure consistent quality of deliverables
Manage and/or conduct desk research (e.g. expert and customer interviews, lit reviews, competitive analyses)
Summarize findings across studies into actionable insights and support integration of findings into product development
Oversee budgeting, costs, scoping, staffing, etc.
Ensure research studies respect security, human subjects board and legal requirements
Mentor junior team members, helping them develop essential professional, research and communication skills to enable them to flourish and grow
