At Reality Labs Research (RL-R), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team, whose mission is creating the future of input and interaction for AR and VR. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience building software infrastructure, and who can work with a team of researchers who are running experiments. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers and will have access to cutting edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS degree in Computer Science, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of Python experience
3+ years C/C++ experience, including C++11 (and up) features and principles
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Work side by side with research scientists to enable human subjects research that explore input interactions
Build tools, platforms, infrastructure and documentation that enable more efficient and effective research
Collaborate in a diverse team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions
Build a community of researchers and developers by sharing software engineering best practices, tips and techniques
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with machine learning/deep learning frameworks
Experience with UI frameworks such as Qt, PyQt
Experience with real-time demo and visualization
5+ years experience working within interdisciplinary teams or working closely with scientists
