Reality Labs (RL) is looking for an exceptional leader to take on the role of Director of Retail Channel Sales for EMEA. This exciting and crucial role will be responsible for driving and delivering our Reality Labs go-to-channel sales strategy with EMEA retail partners. The position will primarily involve developing and managing a high-performing team of account and channel marketing managers in critical markets across Europe. This person will be charged with developing a comprehensive sales strategy as a subset of the overall organizational vision.

Reporting to the Director of Global Retail Sales, this role requires a seasoned leader that can work on multiple axis. 1. Recruiting/coaching a team of managers, individual contributors and cross functional teammates. 2. Building the future Reality Labs go-to-channel sales strategy and organizational structure. 3. Leaning-in heavily and working with cross-functional teams to align on strategy and long-term vision. 4. This leader will also dive into the hard work and roll up their sleeves in order to support their team’s mission. 5. Finally, this leader will push boundaries to deliver the best retail/consumer experience for our products and will live the values and culture that is Meta

Successful candidates at RL lead with influence before title and communicate easily across functions and levels of the team. You will need to be at home in a fast-paced environment with democratized information, be comfortable working in ambiguity and working across Product Management, Product Marketing, Channel Strategy, Channel Services, Marcom, and Finance and at the same time, working with our customer’s cross functional leadership teams.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

10+ years’ experience in a retail sales & channel marketing leadership role. Candidates should have a demonstrable record of achievement and success with a consumer technology brand.

10+ years’ experience in building go-to-channel strategy, planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels while managing large sales budgets.

5+ years remote sales team management experience.

5+ years experience managing multiple teams of managers as well as individual contributors that deliver on several large-scale initiatives with cross-functional or cross-regional impact.

10+ years exposure to the market is essential, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.

7+ years proven track record of success in delivery of sales quotas against business plans.

Description(岗位职责)

Lead, recruit, develop and manage a diverse team of EMEA Sales and Channel Marketing Managers to accomplish channel-specific goals for Reality Labs hardware.

Understands organizational health, can articulate an organizational vision, and can effectively diagnose and make recommendations to solve complex issues that may span multiple teams (including decisions around resource prioritization, top-level goal alignment, and balancing impact with team longevity)

Develop EMEA go-to-channel retail sales strategy. Focus on building programs that optimize trial, conversion, and retention of Reality Labs customers.

Precise communication to all stakeholders, internal and external, is essential. As a rapidly growing company with an expanding presence, the ability to articulate ideas, risks, opportunities, etc. will be essential.

Proactively detect the largest problems impacting the team’s execution and make decisions that manage dependencies

Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives

Consistently build strong internal partnerships, influence through others, resolve conflict, build alignment, and work effectively across teams to execute strategy

Define and leverage an annual joint business plan with key EMEA retail partners.

Be the internal champion and subject matter expert for EMEA retail partners.

Develop and maintain executive leadership relationships with key retail and distributor partners in the market.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within EMEA.

Coordinate and manage sales elements of regularly scheduled reviews e.g. (Quarterly Business Reviews) including regional share, competitive context & performance across our business channels and partners.

Collaborate and provide retail expertise to other teams outside of the RL business unit.

Execute and Manage Commercial Strategies

Achieve annual targets.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics

Experience and clear understanding of how retailers like Amazon, Dixon’s, FNAC and Elkjop measure and manage their businesses. Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI), inventory turns, etc.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, experience in retail & distribution agreements is essential.

Capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources.

Global retail experience (outside EMEA)

Experience with a new business technology that may have changed the way people connect, work and socialize
