Facebook AR/VR Display and Optics Group is seeking a capable and dynamic semiconductor Equipment Engineer to join our Pilot Cleanroom facility. The ideal candidate will have direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. Your job will be to support a world-class operation tasked with developing and scaling segment defining components. You will be responsible for executional aspects of a large Pilot facility ensuring the teams have the resources and support available to meet product milestone objectives and support product development. You will be an individual contributor reporting to an equipment engineering process team.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Minimum of 4 years working in a semiconductor related fab within an Equipment Engineering role
BS degree in engineering, physics or chemistry, or equivalent technical education
Proven understanding of high vacuum theory and equipment maintenance
CD SEM and other metrology equipment operations and maintenance experience
Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods
Mechanical, electric, electronic, troubleshooting skills
Familiarity of MS Office programs
Experience navigating and operating computers
Proven communication skills
Physically capable of standing/walking and lifting parts to service complex process equipment
Willing to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials
Experience with chemical handling & disposal protocols
Physically capable of supporting equipment maintenance that requires occasionally bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, squatting, etc.
Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities, responsibilities and work hours
Description（岗位职责）
Accountable ownership of a specific wafer fab sector for sustainment of daily operations and development activity
Responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment
Use metrics (Availability, MTBF, MTTR, Pareto analysis and RCA through a 8D process) to drive improvement activities on hardware, maintenance, and overall operation
Work closely with team leadership to prioritize job tasks
Work closely with leadership, peers, operators, and engineering teams to deeply understand root cause of failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals
Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives, which may include attendance in classes, seminars, vendor training
Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities
Train and support engineers and technicians
Document all work performed on equipment
Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols
Hands-on participation and strong sense of ownership
