Summary（岗位介绍）
The RL Display and Optics (D&O) Hardware team is responsible for productization of D&O modules that go into final products. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Engineering Testing Manager with a desire for working across the organization to develop technology and solve complex problems and contribute to the future of AR/VR advancements.
You will lead and support a team with multidisciplinary engineers to plan, develop and execute design verification on a series of display and optical modules, and provide close loop feedback to the design team on EE, Opto-mechanical and Optical optimization. You are forward thinking in terms of identifying tools (EE/IO/FW/FPGA/API) to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with teams that will dynamically change depending on the problem and will include optical, firmware, electrical, mechanical and research experts. We want people who work well in teams, can brainstorm big ideas, work in new technology areas, and are able to support a concept from the prototype stage to high-volume manufacturing.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
3+ years experience managing verification testing teams through product development cycles.
8+ years of design verification experience, including full system ownership.
Experience working independently and managing priorities in ambiguous situation.
Experience in verification of advanced systems with multi-functional/multi-disciplinary threads across hardware, firmware, and software.
Experience in Python programming and integration of firmware.
Mass production experience, working with both domestic and overseas manufacturing.
Description（岗位职责）
Manage a team of Design Verification Engineers and lead verification activities for a cross-functional hardware team.
Lead the development of Tools and Automation to support both design verification testing and product development across the organization.
Lead the team support failure analysis on module integration.
Partner with partner teams to develop manufacturing test strategies and plans for new technologies prior to handoff to operations teams.
Identify verification gaps in the development roadmap, and define testing and organizational strategies to fill these gaps.
Work with technical program management, manufacturing, operations and other engineering groups to facilitate effective collaboration between teams.
Identify key roles required for team success and recruit top engineering talents.
Help engineers develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, strengths, and work styles.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
MS+ in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
Experience with VR/AR systems.
Experience with ULED, Waveguide, optical components, modules and assemblies.
Experience in technology incubation or in prototyping.
Experience with metrology, optical data analysis and system calibration.
10+ years experience in design verification of consumer electronics.
