Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Dimensional Engineer on the Facebook Reality Labs hardware team, you will support the development and production of state-of-the-art mechanical designs, structures, mechanisms and sensor integration solutions that will create transformative experiences for users of Augmented Reality. You will become part of a team exploring new concepts through analytical modeling and fast iterative prototyping. You will work on cutting edge technologies with a diverse cross-functional team of engineers and scientists that pioneer mechanical, electrical, optical, materials, firmware, software and computer vision solutions. We value people who work well in teams, can brainstorm big ideas, are able to drive a concept into a prototype and can envision how that prototype could transition into a high-volume consumer product.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience
5+ years industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, Statistics, and Root Cause Problem Solving Methods
Experience with GD&T, and associated metrology, and ability to interpret tolerance analysis results
Experience creating and reviewing measurement plans conducting and evaluating Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)/Gage R&Rs, and other statistical methods required to support both Prototype Evaluation and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
Experience participating on teams that design from concept to manufacturing
Description（岗位职责）
Lead or contribute to geometry control solutions as a part of a team. This role focuses on liaison work among Meta RL Product and Mfg engineering teams and our suppliers in region.
Review and develop measurement plans (mSOPs), and communicate with clarity to suppliers. Will assist in assessing supplier capability to execute with or without special guidance from Meta RL
Lead and audit Gage R&R studies with suppliers
contributing to correct execution of measurement plans and procedures using appropriate metrology applications
Will assist engineering evaluation builds up to and including production to evaluate design and process capabilities to contribute to better build strategies.
Will participate in check fixture and holding fixture design to support measurement quality
Will provide in depth data analysis to help evaluate prototype designs during build events and will advise product and integration engineering teams as to findings and revelations.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years of dimensional engineering experience or related quality engineering experience
Experience participating in a Dimensional Engineering/Management effort practicing full Closed Loop Dimensional Management process
3+ years experience working on high-volume products such as consumer tech, automotive, aerospace, consumer appliance or medical device
Detailed knowledge of measurement devices and software. Capable of leveraging this knowledge to advise suppliers as to correct measurement techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of Minitab, Quantum XL, Jump, or other statistical software
Experience creating scripts or algorithms either within variation software or externally to meet measurement and assembly simulation requirements
