Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Manager for the Metaverse Developer Platform Technical Program Management (TPM) team. Developer Platform Team builds and supports the products and policies at Meta that enable a safe and thriving developer ecosystem. Developers create meaningful experiences for people using our Platform tools and APIs; from experiences like Spotify’s social listening integration, social gaming experiences, tech providers running advertising accounts, higher education research and data transparency, single sign on with Meta Login, sharing to Stories from content creation apps, and so much more. Developers are at the heart of delivering on Meta vision of an interoperable, immersive internet — and this vision is not possible without putting privacy and safety first. Developer Platform policies, products, and data practices carry the responsibility to ensure Meta’s commitment to trust, security, and integrity is clear and prominent.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical and program management expertise needed to provide support to a high performing team that is working to drive results across multiple complex, large-scale initiatives. They will be an inspirational leader that can win trust and establish alignment with a multidisciplinary array of cross-functional partners. They will have demonstrated experience building, mentoring and nurturing technical program/product management or engineering teams of 6 or more, and operating at scale in a highly transformative environment.
We are seeking a person with a strong technical background, platform experience and great interest for the developer community. You will be driving development of the platform and developing tools and processes necessary for best-in-class secure, privacy aware, developer experiences; and finally ensuring teams across the Metaverse are on track to deliver on long-term strategies. This means you can not only manage the team, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of software industry experience or technical product/program management experience.
2+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
Experience establishing and leading teams through multidisciplinary relationships including product management and engineering to drive product impact.
Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team.
Experience communicating and representing work to senior leadership and framing discussions to gain valuable feedback and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
Experience with ambiguity and change and bringing clarity to the team.
Description（岗位职责）
Be responsible for people management of the team, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth.
As a manager, you will be responsible for identifying and solving systemic, organizational-wide problems, influencing, and building strong relationships. Partners include Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science to define needs to support strategic planning and execution as well as metrics, program requirements and scope.
Establish yourself as a cross-functional partner you will lead technical discussions and be responsible for designing and executing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision-making and business impact.
Work with engineering, product, data, and design leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the Metaverse software organization around engagement and growth.
Integrate your technical knowledge, subject expertise and understanding trends to drive sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.
Develop and train others to manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.

Experience with developer platform and 3rd party developer ecosystem.
Experience in scaling platforms and people for large-scale growth.
Experience in quality, security, privacy aspects of developing and managing Product APIs.
