Reality Labs is currently seeking a visionary Art Director to work with team leaders to establish and drive Art Direction and Visual Development on Work Experiences. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for AR and VR, hands-on development as well as a strong commitment to excellence.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Shipped at least two AAA title as an Art Director, and a minimum of 4 titles as an Artist.
Environment portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of 3D environments and visual development foundations.
Experience leading on creative projects and collaborating with senior leadership teams.
Experience working under performance constraints and driving successful visual compromises.
Experience and knowledge of technical and traditional art processes and production pipelines.
Description（岗位职责）
Establish a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of experiences across different platforms.
Push the boundaries of how environments are represented in digital form
work closely with Eng and Tech Art to explore foundational visual development and environment creation pipelines.
Lead in the collaborative development of conceptual artwork, models, sketches, storyboards and project pitches which define and convey your artistic vision.
Communicate art direction goals on an executive level with corporate teams and external partners.
Manage expectations for key stakeholders across RL regarding the execution of quality AR/VR experiences and content.
Partner with the management team to create project pitches, pillars, and actionable production plans.
Responsible for the creation of style guides, documentation and related materials for internal and external teams.
Regularly meet with artists and leads to define art quality standards.
Provide inspiration to art staff and facilitate training opportunities to develop all art disciplines, drive creative culture.
Actively participate in hiring, training, development & resourcing.
Build a strong understanding of VR and coach others in successful execution in that space.
Work with Production to build a predictable schedule and oversee scope and estimates.
