Summary（岗位介绍）
The NPI Materials Program Manager role is a position to help improve the new introduction process and transition products through the product release process (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT and MP readiness) more efficiently. This function requires strong understanding of NPI product release process; principles and practices of purchasing, supplier management, materials requirements planning, and the ability to work under minimum supervision. In this role, the candidate will partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sourcing, TPM’s, OPM’s, & HW Engineering product teams to standardize key supply chain business processes such as Material Drive forecasting, Risk Buy process, Clear to Build (CTB) process, initiating Spot Buy purchase requests, interface with suppliers on build and ship plans, support BOM accuracy activities, amongst other responsibilities as outlined.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Supply chain/Materials experience in NPI environment.
Knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics.
Experience using Agile BOM management tools.
Experience and knowledge with hardware design.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description（岗位职责）
Act as the primary liaison between ODM and Facebook teams monitoring, managing and driving the ODM to assure build goals/schedule is being met
Alignment of NPI BOM’s to AVL and commodity technologies
Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective
Propose and execute solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedules
Interactions involve strategic and tactical procurement activities in a global environment
Manages NPI risk buy process, provides material procurement authorization to Contract Manufacturer
Closely work with CM partner to generate CTB reports on material status for a given product
Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive 2nd source initiatives and component qualification timelines

Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
Experience working with Asia based suppliers.
Demonstrated experience driving a plan to bring resolution to differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment.
