As a Material/Texture Artist, you will work directly with the game directors and discipline leads to help define breathtaking AAA scenery.


5+ years of industry experience working on different gaming platforms.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Substance Painter, ZBrush and Maya (creating and maintaining UVs).

Effective time management, organizational skills, and experience prioritizing tasks/requests.

Portfolio of realistic, high fidelity game-ready textures.

Experience with PBR rendering and materials.

Experience with realism and attention to detail.

Experience with form and color theory.

Experience giving and receiving feedback.


Work closely with leads and art teams to create high fidelity textures for performant production assets.

Anticipate and identify production challenges to leads.

Uphold strict organization and convention standards to work efficiently.

Help build and maintain the internal Substance library of materials & utilities. Assist with maintaining technical and quality standards.

Adhere to strict environment art texel allocation and uv mapping.

Establish techniques to quickly adapt to an agile development environment.

Work with the Art Leads to deliver time estimates for texture/material creation.

Occasionally create 3D models and UVs (high/low workflow).

Create documentation & tutorials, communicate requirements effectively, and provide feedback to artists.

Be proactive and self-motivated, work without direct supervision.

Collaborate with other departments to develop new technologies and cutting edge solutions.

Research new texture tools and techniques to create more efficient and visually appealing environments.

Flexibility in shifting and pivoting towards production needs.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience with a 3D game engine like Unreal or Unity.

Experience with Substance Designer and creating material libraries.

Has shipped 2 AAA game titles.

Experience developing art pipeline.

Experience mentoring junior artists.
