As a software engineering manager of the Avatar Presence team in Meta Reality Labs (RL), you will help bring avatars in the Metaverse and help people connect through digital doubles. You will design and build end-to-end systems, including improving performance and accuracy of models and developing computer vision algorithms. The role is ideal for someone passionate about AR/VR, digital representations, AI machine perception and with a desire to make an impact on users by shipping high quality products with a strong focus on diversity and fairness.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
3+ years of experience in leading teams productizing machine perception technologies (i.e., computer vision, deep learning, sensors and robotics).
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience supporting an engineering and research organization through technical leadership.
Experience in recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.
Description（岗位职责）
Drive technology development from architecture to deep algorithmic solutions for problems in computer vision and machine learning.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams in computer vision, machine learning, graphics and art.
Establish a solid project framework and excellent development processes.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to both your team members and your project peers.
Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams.
Communicate and collaborate effectively. Operate strategically and tactically.
Develop longer-term area strategies and set direction while delivering state-of-the-art avatar creation products.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Masters or PhD in Computer Vision or AI/Machine Learning.
Experience shipping computer vision or AL/Machine Learning technology into hardware products.
Experience with any of the following: image processing or computer vision techniques, finite element modeling and analysis, machine learning, numerical optimization, 3D reconstruction, motion capture, face tracking, geometry processing, avatars.
