To date, our product portfolio includes VR (Quest, Horizon), AR (Ray-Ban Stories, Spark) and Home & Work (Portal, Workplace) and we continue to develop other innovations across hardware, software and social presence as we work on the foundational elements of our metaverse vision.
Reality Labs is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager who is knowledgeable and passionate about building new products and platforms. Our goal is to build healthy ecosystems to empower the many types of audiences who enjoy and gain value from our products, for example: Creators and Developers building on Spark AR and Horizon or helping businesses reimagine commerce and advertising in the metaverse.
The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting competitive and market analysis, identifying product opportunities, informing product concepts, defining value propositions, and developing programs. We are looking for an individual with experience presenting to leadership who can clearly communicate how and why our platforms provide meaningful value to developers, creators and advertisers. The ideal candidate will know how to positively impact customer sentiment and drive new behavior, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams for brand building, product positioning, and creative marketing. The right person for this role will sit at the center of a cross-functional set of relationships that include external partners, product teams, business development, and outbound marketing to balance the needs and growth opportunities for creators, developers, and external partners. The ideal candidate will display strong project management and organizational leadership skills.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
6+ years work experience in strategy and/or consulting, marketing products to the following audiences: developer, tech enthusiast audience, small business, advertisers
Experience communicating with a variety of audiences and stakeholders
Experience influencing product roadmaps through relevant research and analysis
Experience working closely with product development, developer relations and product operations teams
Experience working with or running user and market research, and applying research insights to product development
Description(岗位职责)
Be able to clearly articulate product opportunity and vision that delivers meaningful value to niche audiences: Creators, Developers or Advertisers
Partner effectively with Product Management, developer relations and other related product teams to develop world-class product marketing communications and products that resolve the audiences’ needs
Drive product adoption and usage rates through engaging content and marketing materials
Conduct competitive and market research to garner insights that help drive strategic decisions and product roadmaps
Drive audience proficiency and skills through the creation and management of educational content, events, and strategic programs
Author strategic briefs and partner with Marketing Communications to support the development of engaging audience-facing communication such as blog posts, social posts, guides, email newsletters and keynote presentations that instruct and demonstrate new ways to leverage our tools
Partner with cross-functional teams to tell the story around our products, and brands in a cohesive way
Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, identifying opportunities to present ourselves as a leader and innovator
Organize and coordinate plans and materials for key events such as F8 and Meta Connect,, as well as regional events such as hackathons, boot camps, and workshops

BA/BS degree or relevant work experience
MBA or other relevant advanced degree
Experience thinking creatively and strategically with proven project management skills
Experience driving organizational change and influencing strategic decisions/plans
Experience working with marketing cross-functional teams, including creative, research, analytics, and media
Experience with building and launching platforms, products, and tooling for niche audiences or users: i.e. Creators, Developers, Businesses or Advertisers
Experience working with Technical audiences
Experience working with building educational curriculum, training materials, and growth programs for niche audiences
Experience with driving engagement, retention and growth Creator and Developer communities
Experience in the VR/AR developer space
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, global tech company, or start-up environment
