The Meta wireless team is driving for bleeding edge connectivity required from device to cloud in order to enable new ways for AR & VR devices to map the world and the human body and enable people to have an experience where the real and virtual worlds will mix and match throughout the day.
As a Wireless Subsystem TPM Manager in AR/VR/Portal/Wearables, you will lead a team of wireless TPM’s through the NPI process to develop the next generation of custom and semi-custom modules/subsystems to drive our industry-leading consumer products. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for wireless (HW and/or FW) TPM execution, as well as to lead, develop and scale a team of wireless TPM’s.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Engineering field or equivalent relevant field experience
10+ years of combined experience in following areas: Wireless TPM, Wireless EPM, wireless HW engineering, wireless FW development in consumer electronics
5+ years of leadership experience in following areas: Engineering Manager, TPM manager and/or EPM manager
Understanding of phase gate approach to technology development projects
Experience with component and module qualification, validation and characterization processes
Knowledge of program and issue tracking
Description（岗位职责）
Serve as the primary point of accountability for wireless TPM execution.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across wireless engineering and cross-functional leadership.
Lead, develop, and scale a team of wireless (HW and/or FW) TPMs.
Work with a cross-functional team of PM, EE, ME, OE, FW, SW to set milestones, create integration plans and identify/address potential setbacks/risks and mitigation plans that enable the definition and execution of next generation hardware products.
Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of programs.
Effectively communicate program status to key cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.
Manage delivery of custom wireless module development builds and ensure qualification to meet mass production timelines.
Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success.
Embedded with engineering teams to manage external vendors engaged in the development of various cameras, including managing resources, setting review processes, working with supply chain and operations, etc.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years experience working on Wireless HW modules, antennas, or subsystems firmware/driver
SW development in test automation experience
Experience with the SW validation process, qualification
Any regulatory/compliance experience/knowledge (FCC/CE/PTCRB/GCF/Carrier Lab Entry)
