We are currently seeking innovative scientists for next generation diffractive waveguide development for AR display application. Successful candidates should have a strong background of physical optics, diffractive optics, be comfortable navigating in a dynamic cross-functional team and have strong communication ability.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Experience in optical design using standard design software such as Virtual Lab, FRED, LightTools, Zemax, or CODE V.
Experience in scientific programming and data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Python, etc.).
Proven understanding of wave optics, geometric optics, polarization, etc.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Description（岗位职责）
Deliver diffractive waveguide design for new product concepts.
Support the development of new waveguide technology.
Build collaborative relationships both internally and externally to support new concept initiatives, technology transfer and product prototyping.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience in designing, engineering or building diffractive optics, hologram or other nano-optics components.
Hands on experience in set up optical systems, e.g. interferometer, holography exposure system, etc.
Experience working and communicating cross-functionally in a team environment.
