Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Research Program Manager, UX Labs, you will solve product logistics issues and act as a connector between product teams and multiple technical and business teams to resolve operational hurdles. In this role, you will define, establish, and maintain operational and team-wide programs as well as create and manage processes to support cutting edge products. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, enabling the team’s best work by leading strategic planning of programs, managing short and long-term project milestones, anticipating project issues and resolving them, connecting resources to research needs, and removing barriers to doing great work. The Research Program Manager, UX Labs is an expert in problem solving and multitasking, while building long-term relationships with the team and cross-functional partners. You will utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills that help our talented teams operate at their highest and most effective level.
This role requires both execution and strategic-focused program management experience and broad knowledge of research’s impact on product development. Communication skills, experience managing complex logistics, and a highly organized approach are mandatory.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
3+ years of AV installation, operation, and troubleshooting experience – including but not limited to equipment integration, handling, break/fixing and configuring audio & video hardware, and cable & connector types
Experience with audio & video processing equipment, such as Extron
Experience drafting power, data, and AV systems construction “Spots & Dots” schematics
Knowledge of RJ45/CAT5, BNC, XLR, & TRS connectors
Knowledge of video recording and streaming concepts and codecs
Experience troubleshooting in Mac and Windows environment, including IP connectivity and application compatibility
Description（岗位职责）
Providing daily operations management of on-site labs in NORAM
Consistent communications with NORAM site UX Lab tech leads
Acting as the main POC for lab-related escalations requiring change to processes
Close collaboration with the RL UX Inventory Manager to operationalize regional inventory changes
Using tasks systems and other solutions to gather team support metrics
Driving UX Lab team processes, workflows, and metrics
Programmatically driving construction of regional UX Labs in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Authoring research study technical support documentation and training modules for UX Research stakeholders
Collaborating with the device support teams for in-study documentation & prep
Crafting durable, scalable, and accurate solutions for the RL UXR organization
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with hardware & software product life cycles
Familiarity with UX and usability research and methods
Experience collaborating with internationally distributed teams
Experience with augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR)
