Our VR hardware TPM team is currently seeking a Technical Program Management leader who would manage a team of TPMs driving engineering focused sustaining activities for our entire in-market VR portfolio as well as TPMs supporting Prototyping efforts of new technologies and integrating them into shipping products.
The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience in leading large projects across multiple hardware teams, as well as building and growing an organization of TPMs. You will have a well-rounded technical background, with experience of developing consumer device hardware. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to manage the team, develop and drive high-level strategic initiative, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
5+ years of experience with building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers
Experience working on consumer electronics products
Communication and interpersonal experience including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team
Organizational, coordination and multitasking experience
Experience understanding product requirements and translating needs into plans
Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of hardware engineers, software engineers, and operations engineers
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated experience to self-motivate and follow through on
Understanding of Engineering best practices, validation and characterization process

Responsible for people management of a Hardware TPMs - hiring, developing and implementing organizational structure, delivering performance reviews, providing continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones for your team
Scale the organization to support multiple fast-paced product categories
Define and own metrics and key performance indicators
Perform risk management and change management on projects
Work with the team to develop end to end project plans, influence teams to deliver against them and keep the org and leadership informed on progress
Work with Engineering, Operations and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the organization
Set clear expectations and create and positive work environment based on accountability in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams
