We are looking for an Image Sensor Architect that will partner with a team of professionals covering the complete CMOS image sensor lifecycle in human perception and machine perception imaging. This individual will lead the requirements definition, selection and integration of leading edge image sensors into our products (camera modules). Their work scope will span off the shelf image sensors, semi-custom sensors, fully custom sensors, and advanced sensor technologies.
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of industry experience, or Ph.D with 2+ years of industry experience in sensors, computer vision HW pipelines, or HW accelerator architectures.
Experience in ASIC or FPGA design.
Basic understanding of computer vision or machine learning.
Lead technical efforts to architect and productize novel image sensors.
Architect models of low power image sensors.
Architect and partition on-sensor intelligent functions to reduce system power and sensor die area.
Co-optimize sensor and algorithm to reduce system power and sensor die area.
Collaborate with internal and external image sensor design teams, computer vision scientists, module/optical experts and system architects to develop next generation image sensor technologies.
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics or a related technical discipline directly related to sensors, computer vision HW pipelines, or HW accelerator architectures.
Hands-on design or architecture experience on pixel, readout, ISP and interface protocols.
Hands-on design or architecture experience on computer vision HW accelerator or deep neural network HW accelerator.
Experience with CMOS image sensors lifecycle for high volume production.
Industrial experience with latest development on low noise, low power, high dynamic range CMOS machine perception and photographic image sensor.
Deep knowledge in one of the following: low power image sensor, machine perception sensor, smart sensor, depth sensor, machine learning, deep neural networks, on-sensor AI.
