Come and develop, drive, and deliver new products in the world of Meta’s Reality labs! We’re looking for individuals that want to be on the ground floor of breakthrough technologies and help build a world class sourcing team. As a Manager of the Strategic Sourcing Electricals team, you will be responsible for leading the strategy for developing the Sourcing roadmap for Integrated Circuit or ICs (in particular, Actives, Passive and Switches components) including part selection, supplier selection, Cost negotiations and Contract execution. As a leader of the EE sourcing team, you will closely collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Program Management, Technical Operations, and other cross-functional teams. During the product development process, your team will be responsible for ensuring the suppliers are prepared to support the delivery of key parts on-time at specified quality, and yield parameters and are prepared to meet the ramp quantities. It is the Sourcing team’s primary objective to ensure suppliers meet or exceed commercial and technical requirements throughout the life-cycle of the product(s).
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS degree.
15+ years work experience in sourcing or related fields associated with ICs, semiconductor, Board Electricals.
5+ years work experience in a people management role.
Background in Semiconductor fabs processes, foundry management, backend and testing.
Experience in working with Semiconductor suppliers globally.
Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management.
Material management and CTB (Clear to Build) proficiency.
Description（岗位职责）
Helps build and support the team for development of commodity or category sourcing strategies ensuring the suppliers are capable of meeting AR/VR’s current and future technical and business requirements.
Is a subject matter expert in board electrical solutions (i.e., Actives, Passives, Switches etc.).
Familiar with Semiconductor fabs operations, foundry management, backend and testing.
Leads benchmarking of the industry to monitor technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into the Reality Labs supply chain.
Leads the team on supplier selection criteria, evaluates alternative suppliers, manages the RFQ process, and drives final supplier selection in partnership with Electrical Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional partners.
Leads the team to formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, Cost challenges and any supply issue.
Institutes checks and balances to optimize schedule flexibility while minimizing excess inventory exposure.
Reviews part shortages on a weekly cadence and helps the team in driving contingency plan/escalations.
Leads early BOM scrub with HW Engineering to identify risk and implement mitigation strategies (ie, dual sourcing on all parts where possible or proposing alternates).
Ensures all Strategic suppliers close Supplier development agreements with Reality Labs.
Ensure all relevant components are included in the Statement of work (SOW) for all new projects.
Leads team to influence supplier technology roadmaps and create internal disruptive value-add to ensure Facebook’s system architecture and commercial requirements are met.
Builds and manages strategic supplier relationships at the executive level.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Advanced engineering degree and/or MBA.
Experience with high volume, consumer electronics products.
EE engineering background and working experience with either board layout and data signal integrity, power architectures.
7+ years of sourcing experience managing semiconductor suppliers globally.
