The Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Group at Facebook is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Displays commodity to drive impact and deliver results in highly innovative Facebook devices group. This position will focus on leading one of the most strategic categories in sourcing. This will include managing an Internationally based supply base, owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category and supply base strategy, management and negotiation of Master Product Supply Agreements and related contractual execution activities. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow with Facebook. You must be a high energy/impact individual with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-demand and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through facts & data, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities will be required. Role is based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, China.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Manufacturing, EPM, TPM, or Business-Related positions

Knowledge and experience in consumer electronic components supply chain and cost structure

Experience and knowledge in Display technology

5+ years of experience in product or process definition taking Display product from concept to execution

Experience in varieties of display technologies, i.e., LCD, AMOLED, uLED, uOLED, Touch module, Driver IC, LED, Backlights and Display Module Assembly

Experience in market analysis to dissect market size, players, customers, growth, technology replacements/forecasts, pricing trends, etc., to formulate sourcing strategies

Experience in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers, as well as gathering market intelligence

Experience articulating points of view with executive management but execute plans when directed

Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management

Experience working embedded with hardware and systems engineering throughout product development process of technology products

Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs

Description(岗位职责)

Develop Display commodity supplier sourcing strategy ensuring the supplier is capable of meeting Facebook’s current and future technical and business requirements

Be an expert in Display commodity cost and supply

Be an expert in Display commodity cost and supply

Continually benchmark the industry to monitor technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into the Facebook supply chain

Drive Early Supplier Involvement initiatives to ensure suppliers / partners are proactively providing input into new product designs and future product roadmaps

Negotiate key agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms

Lead Total Cost Reduction program to ensure the lowest possible total cost, including product cost, transportation cost, inventory cost, and cost of quality

Determine appropriate business splits between suppliers where appropriate

Formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, and any potential supply issue

Ownership of all display category and strategies, leading 5+ year technology portfolio decisions, partner selection and business negotiations

Partner and work with a cross-functional team to drive the supplier selection process (own RFx) and component qualification both under strict engineering and commercial best practices/disciplines

Deliver most aggressive and closest to should-cost costing and budget (opex/capex) projections, with the ability to standup to the most aggressive alternatives, doubts, and scrutiny

Accountability for securing components and/or services in the above category that will provide competitive advantage in both technology and cost for Facebook

Achieve established commitments on total cost results, supply, quality and compliance adherence, and on-time delivery

Ability to travel extensively on short notice as situation demands

Deliver best in class total cost of ownership (TCO), continuity of supply (COS), and business relationship management

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

MBA, PhD or Master’s degree in Technical Discipline
