Summary（岗位介绍）
Meta is seeking an experienced silicon Technical IP Licensing Manager that creates disruptive value by influencing the product definitions, designs, and specifications for our organization, for the development and manufacturing of our Meta Reality Labs hardware and software. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing across our ecosystem, including the commercial, operational and technical performance of our technology and supplier base. You will be responsible for developing IP sourcing strategies, pipelines and cost/risk models that span across technologies for Meta Reality Labs.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
8+ years in an engineering role designing Display, Optics, or SOCs 2+ years experience in IP licensing roles
Leadership, program management and cross-functional teamwork experience
Experience with communicating and to influence all levels of management
Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
BS degree
Description（岗位职责）
Partner with Product Management, Silicon Engineering, Display & Optics Engineering and other cross functional partners to identify and secure licenses to third party IP
Have technology developed for the purposes of licensing that deliver product experiences in line with world class commercial terms and conditions
Develop the strategy for 3rd party IPs across all technology areas, e.g. silicon, display, optics
Evaluate technology on behalf of engineering
Negotiate technical scope and license agreements
Technical subject matter expert in assigned IPs
Continually provide technical industry benchmarks, monitor, and report on technology trends
Work with internal partners to avoid any potential technical issues and quality problems
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
10+ years experience in silicon IP licensing
10+ years in an engineering role designing Display, Optics, or SOCs 10+ years experience in the design of IPs for at least one of the technology areas of interest to Reality Labs, e.g., Machine/Deep Learning accelerators, Computer Vision, Graphics, Audio processing, Video/Audio codes, Security, Image Sensor Processors, Compute Clusters, Memory subsystems, SOC Fabric, Power Management, Fast IO, etc.
10+ years experience leading global IP strategy and transactions in the silicon space
Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
