At Meta, Reality Labs Technical Program Managers are building the metaverse. We work in an extremely cross-functional, interdependent space to create experiences that go beyond the limitations of the physical world. The Metaverse People team is unique in that we work on Avatars across the Meta Ecosystem, across our family of apps, creating every identity from the embodied experience you have in VR to the 2D Avatar product on Facebook.
VR Social Presence TPM plays a highly impactful and a critical leadership role in delivering Social Presence for VR products and will define the planning and execution of new SW features.
This TPM will collaborate with engineering and product teams on strategy and goals, and own execution of all phases of the development cycle, planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying and tracking risks and clear communication to project stakeholders. The ideal candidate is energized by having impact, is passionate about enabling high-quality user experience, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for SW TPMs with prior experience having shipped multiple complex SW launches in new & existing hardware devices from concept through shipment.

Ideal if the candidate has passion for virtual reality and collaborative online social experiences.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
8+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager or Software Product Manager managing software programs from inception to production.
Experience launching consumer products or delivering large software releases.
Experience developing software roadmaps, program tracking tools, software development processes, software dashboards for complex consumer products.
Experience in managing complex ambiguous software products with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Track record of communicating ambiguous, novel technical problems & solution trade-offs to land cross-org impact.
Description（岗位职责）
Develop software roadmaps & software launch/release activities based on product and technical requirements and business needs from the early stage of development through launch.
Expands or bootstraps programs in ambiguous and contentious areas to achieve long term goals across several programs. Delivers impact at the cross-org level.
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify resource needs, program risks & dependencies, actively resolve key cross org technical problems to deliver critical software features.
Develop best practices and product development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment. Evangelize those practices to enable them to scale across different products.
Effective at partnering and influencing all levels of cross-functional stakeholders including cross-org leadership. Bring visibility on e2e program status, risks & dependencies by presenting at leadership reviews.
