Summary（岗位介绍）
Meta Reality Labs is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead a cross-functional team in establishing lab operating procedures, safety protocols, capacity management, materials availability and equipment installations. This role will support a diverse set of capabilities supportive of R/D for AR/VR products within our Display and Optics group at Reality Labs. The ideal candidate has experience working with sophisticated semiconductor and photonics tools, has experience standing up and evolving capabilities, understands industrial safety and is expert at building collaborative relationships.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science related field (materials, chemical engineering, electrical)
5 or more years experience managing a nanofabrication facility or laboratory with core responsibilities in work coordination, operations, equipment and facilities
5 or more years experience with chemical and material safety in industrial or academic settings, including handling and disposal of chemicals, storage, MAQs
Experience with lab PO process from quotation, purchase, payment, to delivery and vendor management
Operation, maintenance and safety experience including fume hoods, laser systems, robotics, vacuum systems, gas delivery, metrology and other common benchtop equipment
Familiar in operational methodologies including TPM, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Description（岗位职责）
Plan and execute lab projects including lab expansion, system installation, equipment planning/procurement/setup/inventory/maintenance/calibration/SW update/license & renewal, and lab network/security/IT interface, etc.
Coordinate preventative maintenance with Equipment Engineering across equipment and auxiliary tools including use of databases
Responsible for maintaining laboratory stock and budgets (substrates, chemicals, consumables, etc.)
Establish workflow management system for work-in-progress optimization
Drive lab space, safety, regulatory, and security processes compliance, work with cross-functional teams to timely deploy standard lab environments
Work with cross-functional engineering managers and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver high quality lab working environments
Support development of a flexible and capable workforce to manage key aspects of operational activities
Support training as needed for critical tooling and processes
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience working in an agile environment, changing roadmaps and being capable to adapt project plans based on changes
Excellent people management and leadership skills, including experience with self-directed work teams
