Summary(岗位介绍)

As an Audio HW Module and Subsystem Technical Program Manager at Meta’s Reality Labs, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the product development process to develop custom and semi-custom audio HW subsystems to drive acoustic performance and features in our industry-leading RL/Wearable/Portal systems. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. We look for program managers who are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.

This position has a 24-week duration. All candidates are expected to commit to a consecutive 24-week timeframe for successful completion of the program. At the end of the term, those participants who have demonstrated their ability to succeed and make an impact at Meta will be considered for a full-time position. Roles are filled as candidates are identified.

This program is open to all candidates who have relevant professional experience and have been out of the workforce for 2 years or longer immediately prior to the start of the program. Qualifications(岗位要求)

BS in an engineering field

3+ years experience as an engineering/technical program manager managing hardware programs from concept to mass production

Understanding of phase gate approach to technology development projects

Experience with component and module qualification, validation and characterization processes

Knowledge of program and issue tracking

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and projects

Must have work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Description(岗位职责)

End-to-end ownership of audio subsystem during New Product Introduction (NPI), inclusive of audio architecture, product KPIs, custom audio module development, tuning and algorithms to meet product requirements

Participate in scoping and roadmap definition for next generation audio subsystems and modules Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications, design options, and test plans

Set program milestones, communicate statuses to team and/or Leadership, and identify/address potential setbacks

Manage development, delivery, and qualification of audio subsystems based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs

Resolve dependencies with other teams, navigating tradeoffs and delivering program decisions

Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor team

Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery

Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

2+ years working experience on Audio HW Module projects or equivalent experience

Firmware and algorithm experience
