Summary（岗位介绍）
We are seeking a Product Quality Engineer to join our AR/VR Product Quality Engineering Team. You will be responsible for owning and managing the overall quality management system for multiple Augmented and Virtual Reality products. The Product Quality Engineer will play a critical role in defining and driving quality levels of products from initial prototyping through to mass production and continuous improvement of quality. We are looking for an individual with an analytical background that can help us focus on assessing and quantifying project quality risks during the development phase and proactively driving strategic mitigations. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
8+ years of experience in Quality management in the high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing, or equivalent Including experience with NPI to MP stages
Communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering: mechanical, manufacturing, electrical or equivalent
Knowledge and experience using statistics to study production processes and continuously improve quality Familiar with DOE, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Sampling Plans
Description（岗位职责）
Assess project risks and proactively drive mitigation plans through product development phases
Develop and continuously improve Meta’s Quality Management system and coordinate with FATP CM to implement Quality Management System at factory to meet Meta requirements
Partner with Engineering to define product acceptance plans based on Product Requirements Document (PRD) and release Product Quality Plans (PQP) to the FATP CM
Provide quality team’s risk assessment and advocate for the customers in project cross-functional team meetings
Analyzing FATP CM production and field quality data to identify improvement opportunities and work with internal and external cross-function teams to improve
Defining and owning quality KPIs and metrics from New Product Introduction (NPI) to Mass Production (MP)
Overall product quality owner in system FATP factory and field
Drive communication and actions on quality by conducting periodic quality reviews and by aligning and engaging with cross-functional teams
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to global locations
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master’s degree in engineering: mechanical, manufacturing, electrical or equivalent
Project management experience and proven track record of creative problem solving in a development environment
Certified Quality Engineer, Lean/Six Sigma black belt
