As part of FRL quality team, you will be a key member to work closely with XFN teams to manage all contact/connector/cable quality issues at vendor factories, setup world class quality control plan and quality system, and also deliver world class quality products for downstream. Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering is required.
8+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering in consumer electronics with relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of different kind of Cable/Contact/Connector manufacturing processes with an understanding of equipment and methodologies commonly used in the industry.
Experience with process control on plating, laser welding, injection molding, stamping, pin inserting, UV glue dispensing /curing and automatic optical inspection, etc.
Understand Cable assembly flow, major soldering technology and cable test items.
Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, GR&R, DoE, metrology, GD&T, and Correlation studies.
Experience with doing data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or JMP.
Experience in developing and qualifying tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to vendor at different locations.
Description（岗位职责）
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for overall Cable/Contact/Connector process development and readiness within the supply chain.
Drive Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) activities with vendors and provide technical support in enhancing process capability and solving technical issues.
Identify equipment, fixture, and tooling needs and drive implementation efforts to qualify and optimize the manufacturing process.
Establish quality and process control plans at vendors for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered.
Responsible for conducting Design/Process FMEA, Failure analysis, PPAP, and Statistical Process Control.
Knowledgeable in conducting DOEs, Line qualification, Machine Buy-off, Cycle Time & UPH studies, and Automation.
Develop and institutionalize our vendor and supplier selection process.
Evaluate prospective vendors for process capability based on project needs, then be a major part of supplier identification and selection.
Publish concise reports on module yield performance, specification convergence status
drive Failure analysis, Corrective Action implementation plan, and yield bridge to mass production.
Responsible for supplier quality management with a focus on assessing supplier production and quality controls, evaluating supplier readiness, and adherence to module quality plan.
Collaborate with Suppliers and Engineering teams in assessing, proposing, and developing process technologies based on project requirements.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master degree is preferred
Connector/Contact/Cable design and process development experience
Understand how to define the reliability test plan to do quality risk assessment for Connector/Contact/Cable at component level.
Understand the plating stack up solution proposal for required anti-corrosion performance.
Good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. English is the working language.
