Reality Labs brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today. Just as personal computers have done over the past 45 years, AR and VR will ultimately change everything about how we work, play, and connect. We are developing all the technologies needed to enable breakthrough AR glasses and VR headsets, including optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interface, haptic interaction, eye/hand/face/body tracking, perception science, and true telepresence. Some of those will advance much faster than others, but they all need to happen to enable AR and VR that are so compelling that they become an integral part of our lives.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium or equivalent.
Experience with use of oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, and function generators.
Experience working with one of these technologies: digital signal processing, real-time image processing, display engineering, camera modules, mobile SoC and PMIC, or Battery Management System.
Experience with Power optimization working with FW for battery powered products.
Experience with cross-functional groups and vendors against project plans.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description(岗位职责)
Designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing of electrical systems in experiments which combine mechanics, optics, and software.
Collaborating in a team environment across engineering disciplines.
Designing schematics, completing board layouts, assembling, testing, debugging, and integrating designs into electro-mechanical systems.
Specifying components.
Transforming vendor reference designs into custom solutions.
Incubating new technologies into high volume production.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Working autonomously and taking initiative to manage priorities.
Designing Custom silicon bring up boards.
Designing SOC based product POC platform boards.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment
Experience with high speed signaling over DP, MIPI, HDMI, and USB SS
Experience with IMUs/sensor physical sensor systems with an understanding of calibration methods
Experience with vision systems
Experience with audio
Experience programming in languages like Python or C/C++
Experience with circuit design in high speed circuits, Verilog/FPGAs, microcontrollers, microprocessors, firmware, and programmable logic based development
Consumer Electronics experience and/or working within a mass production environment
