We’re looking for a thought leader and career media investment powerhouse to join our world-class in-house Media Team. The Reality Labs Global Media team (part of Meta Reality Labs’ Global Marketing Communications Organization) is in the process of scaling significantly as we continue to expand our marketing efforts across our product portfolio, and engage more meaningfully with both our internal and external partners.

The Director of Reserve Channel Excellence will be part of the Media Leadership Team, and will be responsible for driving innovation and leading the investment strategy across our Reality Labs portfolio, serving as a thought leader on the media landscape and infusing deep channel expertise into our work.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, data-driven media leader, who proactively identifies risks and opportunities to improve and drive efficiencies throughout the funnel while moving business metrics forward for maximum impact. They will excel in a fast-paced environment and be effective at establishing collaborative working relationships with various teams across disciplines and levels. They will have the proven ability to build, support, and inspire a high-performing team to do the best work of their careers.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

BA/BS degree

15+ years of experience developing and leading media investment strategies for TV/Video/Cinema, Print, Audio and OOH and Strategic Partnerships with Leagues and Entertainment entities

10+ years of demonstrated people leadership and experience coaching and developing team members

Experience with industry trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research

Experience with consumer and cultural media trends

Experience managing agency partners

Experience with industry tools such as Kantar, MRI, comScore, Nielsen

Experience working in cross functional and complex organizations, collaborating with creative, research, measurement and marketing channels counterparts, where influence as well as direct responsibility matter in equal measure

Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple priorities at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams

Experience utilizing data and analytics to influence, define and drive short and long term goals

Experience thriving in a fast-past environment with agility

Description(岗位职责)

Define the Reserve Channel Media vision and metrics for success

Steward your direct team’s development and career growth

Partner with the Media leadership team on strategic portfolio/team wide initiatives that will up-level and deliver best-in-class outputs across the organization

Identify next practices based on marketplace and business evolution (advanced T/V, personalization at scale, evolution of audio & brand identity, etc.)

Serve as a credible expert internally to represent the Media Team in all Reserve channels

Provide ongoing Reserve Channel expertise to the Reality Labs Media Team and other cross functional partners across the organization as needed

Partner with Media Agency to lead thinking and push recommendations to encompass advanced learnings while achieving business objectives

Conduct ongoing landscape assessments to identify new partners to test

Partner with appropriate stakeholders (agencies, Decision Science, Insights, Marketing counterparts, etc.) to influence testing of new capabilities (e.g. Personalized Consumer Experience)

Discover synergies between Reserve channels and other touchpoints (T/V, Digital Direct, Print, Audio, OOH, etc.) for greater impact

Determine effective reach & frequency levels, unit sizes/lengths, environment, viewability levels and device strategies

Establish self as a thought-leader internally and across the industry through partnership with Agency counterparts and participation in industry organizations and events

Comfortable with ambiguity and experience working in fast-paced/dynamic environments
