We are looking for an engineering manager for the data systems team within XR Tech. The XR Tech team works to understand and predict product needs on a 5+ year horizon, incubate and invest in new technical innovations (NTI), while also working to bring mature innovations into shipping products via new product integrations (NPI).
As an Engineering Manager on data systems you will lead, manage, inspire, and grow a diverse team responsible for supporting the next generation of AR/VR experiences by building data intensive infrastructure and systems to scale machine perception. The role will focus on developing a toolchain to manage, analyze and generate data used for ML model training and for computer vision algorithms development. The team is mostly a systems / infrastructure team, but we work closely with CV/ML partners and customers around 3D Maps.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Strong people management, communication and XFN skills
Ability to understand customer needs and translate these into product vision and roadmap
Strong execution drive, across a multi-disciplinary team (Researchers, client and backend engineers, PEs, Designers, Ops)
Experience with building distributed services and data processing pipelines and data analysis tool
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
Professional experience architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services
Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
Able to thrive in a dynamic environment where goals and requirements may be changing

Lead, coach, and grow a diverse team responsible for data validation and map benchmarking
Define strategy for the team. Translate it to goals and clear expectations
Develop a positive work environment based on accountability and impact
Tech leadership to develop, evaluate, understand, and implement data and map benchmarking solutions
Work with cross-functional partners to understand data quality needs and translate these into system capabilities
Collaborate across engineering disciplines and geographies
Recruit world-class talent and provide mentorship to team members
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Background in Computer Vision – SLAM/PT, 3D reconstruction, object detection
Experience working with large volume of photos and videos
