Summary（岗位介绍）
In Meta AI, we’re supporting the AI product needs for our existing family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) and also building the next generation of devices and experiences that make people feel closer. This includes Oculus and Portal products, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) software and content, and research and development labs. The Meta AI group brings together world-class AI technologies and important people problems, to develop and ship groundbreaking product experiences.
We are currently seeking a Product Design Director to build out our AR design team, creating product experiences that will lead in an ambitious space. In this role, you’ll be a foundational member on the leadership team, working together with your product partners in engineering, data science, UX research, content design, and other disciplines to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team to build great products addressing real user needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in AR and AI and familiarity with building out new first generation product experiences. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment is critical. This person must be comfortable guiding teams, freelancers, agencies, and production partners, but should be willing to roll up the sleeves to do the design work itself.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
3+ years of experience in design with the AR space.
6+ years of leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership, including hiring and developing senior managers and individual contributors.
6+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams.
Senior people management, team development, recruiting and org building experience.
Experience growing a strategic design practice within design teams.
