At Facebook, we’re developing the future of AR/VR. As a member of the Optical Display Products operations team, your job will be developing processes and infrastructure to guide uLED devices from prototype development to mass production. You will work closely with internal research teams, cross functional partners, external partners and potential MP process and equipment vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables for the transfer of New Technology Introduction (NTI) to high volume manufacturing for our microLED Displays. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to help our research teams be more efficient while keeping an eye on the long-term goal of mass production.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Masters degree in Materials/Optics/Physics/EE/ME or related field
5+ years of experience in optoelectronic devices
Knowledge of state-of-the-art semiconductor and assembly equipment design, chemical materials, mechanical and chemical process capability and challenges
Experience with defect failure analysis and resolution
Description（岗位职责）
Drives development and execution of plans for transfer of New Technology Introduction (NTI) to high volume manufacturing for our micro-LED technology
Works with the R&D teams to identify and mitigate technology and manufacturing risks for our microLED technologies
Works with internal partners to identify vendors for high volume production
Develop manufacturing processes at the factory and drive line-qualification by working with cross-functional teams and CM partners
Work with contract manufacturing (CM) partners on yield and efficiency improvement
Work with cross-functional team (R&D, HW Engineering, HW Test, Quality, and GSM partners) to drive ramp and MP readiness
Drive cost and cycle time reduction through line balancing, and process optimization
Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as and when required
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Ph.D. in Materials/Optics/Physics/EE/ME or related field
Experience with LED device structure, manufacturing processes and LED packaging
