Oculus is building tools that help people feel connected, anytime, anywhere. We are looking for a talented Camera and Sensor Supplier Quality Engineer to help us to build next generation Camera and Sensor components for our products.
As part of Oculus Camera and Sensor Quality team, you will be a key member to work closely with XFN teams to manage all quality issues at vendor factories, setup world class quality control plans and quality systems, and also deliver world class quality products for downstream. We are working together to create the future.
In this role, you will be managing a group of Camera and Sensor SQEs to develop a long term strategy for the Camera & Sensor quality management system. You shall have excellent expertise in terms of technology and manufacturing process for the camera parts like camera module, camera lens, camera sensor and VCM, etc. You will also take the responsibilities of quality assurance to make sure the camera design, assembly and testing process can meet the requirements defined by Facebook Reality Lab in the contract manufacturer site in the development stage as well as mass production phase.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor degree in Optic and/or engineering.
At least 10 years hands on working experience with at least 5 years management experience in fast consumer electrical industry
Expert process experience on camera/optic technology as well as the manufacturing process.
Experience on FATP/Depth Sensing/ToF is preferred.
Familiar with DFM (design for manufacture), DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC and sampling plan definition.
Strong problem-solving skills and records.
End to end camera components management experience is a plus, like lens, barrel, sensor, filter, etc. Communication skill, manage bias and decision making to ensure product performance and business needs.
Description（岗位职责）
Deeply engage with the camera engineering team and purchasing team on the supplier selection.
Risk assessment and qualification for both product and process of individual camera component supplier and subassembly level manufacturer.
Quality plan definition, alignment and execution for the suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer which includes PFMEA, control plan, CTQ processes, correlated inspection and tester correlation between suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc.
Working with the engineering team on process development for the subassembly level part in the development stages.
Review and setup measurement SOP and do alignment in the supply chain.
Working with the engineering team to initiate and define Camera and sensor modules cosmetic inspection method and acceptance criteria.
Process audit and monitoring camera modules, and their components level part manufacturer for risk assessment and improvement.
Leading for quality problem solving and yield improvement for the camera modules and their components level part.
Proactive quality monitoring system setup for the purchased camera modules and components level part in supplier factory.
Review and approval of the camera modules and their components level part shipping condition and package design validation.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Certified Quality Engineer, 6sigma black belt is a plus.
Can accept fluent travel (up to 50%) under high pressure.
