Summary（岗位介绍）
The Product Cost Engineer Intern will support the team in managing some aspects of a product cost throughout their internship. This person should have an analytical background and will be responsible for an assigned project within operations (Sourcing, CM Management, Operation Program Management) to analyze and report product cost data. This person will be responsible for capturing, documenting and communicating BOM cost, risks and opportunities, trends and changes, as well as developing scalable cost management solutions across the organization.
Candidates must be detail and execution focused, strong collaborators and communicators and have a background in or passion for data/cost management. This position provides a great opportunity to learn about Operations, Sourcing, Cost Management and Product development cycles.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Supply Chain, Information Management Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in operations, finance or accounting
Proven analytical skills, with advanced skills in the use of Excel, program management, and cross functional collaboration
Experience managing large data sets and analytics
Experience with ERP, Data systems (Agile, Oracle, Tableau, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Bills of Materials (BOM) management and coordination with the PCE team and cross functional partners to implement and validate commodity costs
Support PCEs with tracking the program actual costs versus target to identify program deltas and corrective actions to bring back on track Outline, report and track BOM cost, including risks & opportunities on a monthly basis Working with PCE, OPM and GSM
Document and implement supplier plan of record (SPOR) with the CMs Ad Hoc analysis and support for various teams company wide
Work with supply chain and operations team to document detailed cost reduction forecast and drive timely implementation
