Summary(岗位介绍)
The 3D Sensing team is responsible for bringing state-of-the-art depth sensors to Facebook’s AR and VR products. This is achieved through the development of both innovative hardware and software solutions. This role is focused on delivering optimized software implementations of computer vision algorithms for these sensors. In particular, the algorithms will be focused around 3D depth generation and processing. The applicant’s focus will be on the efficient implementation of these algorithms, rather than the algorithm development itself. Experience in writing optimized C++, especially around real-time data processing, and CUDA GPU code is required. The applicant would be a valuable contributor to enabling immersive experiences on the next generation of AR and VR technologies.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
2+ years of experience in optimized modern C++.
2+ years of experience developing in CUDA.
Experience converting algorithms into optimized C++ or CUDA.
Experience working with formal code review process.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description(岗位职责)
Conversion of reference code to efficient C++ implementations
Profiling of algorithm performance on desktop and mobile devices
Development of GPU based implementations of critical algorithmic blocks
Support creation of real-time data processing pipelines
Interface with a multidisciplinary team to deliver critical technology solutions
Work efficiently within SW team, including delivering regular code reviews to fellow team members
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
2+ years CUDA experience.
Experience optimizing computer vision or image/video processing algorithms.
Experience developing real-time data processing systems.
