Facebook Reality Lab’s Wireless Technology Engineering for Devices (TED) group is looking for an Antenna Engineer intern to join our antenna team on Antenna system development for AR/VR products.
This is an internship position based in Redmond, WA. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF/Microwave engineering, Antenna design
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Deep understanding of microwave theory, antenna fundamentals and RF basics
Hands-on experience with characterizing active and passive components, and antennas using various lab equipment, such as VNA, loadpull tuners, etc
Proficient in different EDA tools, such as CST, HFSS, ADS
Familiar with at least one programming language, i.e. Matlab, Python, Shell
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Description（岗位职责）
Will be responsible for bringing up automated test bench for antenna system characterization
Will be working on data collection for reconfigurable antenna system development
Provide crisp and clear summary and report regularly
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
Having research publications in journals or conferences
Experience in designing tunable/configurable antenna
Knowledge of at least one of different wireless technologies, i.e. Cellular, WiFi/BT
