Reality Labs Research is looking for research interns to drive the next generation of human pose modeling, estimation, and tracking. In particular we are seeking candidates who have experience in kinematics, human motion modeling and understanding, and computer vision. Data driven models will play an important role in the internship, so strong machine learning experience is an important requirement for this position.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, algorithms, computational mathematics or a related field.
Excellent research skills involving defining problems, exploring solutions, and analyzing and presenting results.
Proficient in kinematics, machine learning (generative models, temporal architectures, etc.)
Communication skills – you should be able to clearly articulate your ideas and goals.
Proficient in python.
Experience with implementing, training/testing AI models.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description(岗位职责)
Develop, implement, and test novel methods for estimating human pose with egocentric video and other body worn sensors.
Potentially define and execute data collection(s).
Collaborate with other researchers, designers, and engineers to perform data collections, develop models, and deploy methods in demonstrations.
Produce publishable research that appears in top-tier journals or at leading international conferences.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Published a relevant paper in top conference venues such as CVPR, ICCV, BMV, 3DV, SIGGRAPH, ICRA, IROS, RSS.
Familiarity working with inertial measurement units or other non vision based sensors such as lidar, electromagnetic coils, ultra-wideband radio, etc.
Experience with motion capture systems.
Experience designing and performing data collections.
Familiarity with 3D Visualization Software such as Blender, Unity, Maya, etc.
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op.
