A Technical Artist is the key bridge between artists and engineers, and Facebook Reality Labs is currently looking for a passionate team member to closely work with graphics programmers to build the next cutting-edge real-time graphics and technology for AR/VR.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
5+ years of experience in game development as a Technical Art Director or Look Development Artist
Understanding of lighting, color, shading, and photography techniques
Experience writing shader code or utilize tools like Amplify or Shader Graph
Experience working across a wide variety of lighting methods, including HDR, IBL, pre-baked, and dynamic lighting
Experience working across styles (graphic, realistic)
Experience with game profiling and optimization techniques in a real-time rendering environment
Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games
Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
Description(岗位职责)
Lead, define and develop content with a lighting, rendering, and shading focus in a real-time environment
Define lighting and shading methods to drive future looking technology roadmaps and rendering features
Author shaders using code or visual tools like Amplify or Shader Graph
Work closely with the engineering team to design, manage and maintain lighting and rendering pipelines
Instruct artists and designers on best practices for lighting and shading techniques across a range of products and use cases
Prototype, profile and optimize lighting and shaders to achieve desired looks under performance constraints
Resolve issues with cross-functional leads
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Knowledge of real-time graphics pipeline concepts
Experience with Unity
Virtual reality experience (Rift, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.)
