Summary（岗位介绍）
We are currently seeking a full-time compound semiconductor Process Research Engineer with expertise in device processing and characterization. The candidate should have experience with III-V opto-electronics devices and processing, as well as characterization techniques. The position requires a PhD in materials science, physics, or electrical engineering, with publications highlighting novel ideas and expertise in the field. Candidates must be comfortable with device design, developing new processes and understand integration challenges.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Experience in process development and integration.
Fundamental knowledge of Opto-electronics Device processing, Materials science, or Semiconductor material characterization techniques.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description（岗位职责）
III-V semiconductor process development
Novel opto-electronics device research
Develop new characterization and analysis technique to enhance device performances
Work closely with simulation staff to implement and execute experimental designs
Build collaborative relationships both internally and externally to support research initiatives
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with Python.
Experience with JMP and design of experiment (DOE).
Experience working and communicating cross-functionally in a team environment.
Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as first-authored publications at leading workshops or conferences.
