Facebook Reality Labs Research (FRLR) brings together a world-class, cross-discipline R&D team with the shared goal of developing the next generation of AR and VR technologies.
We are seeking a PhD with relevant expertise in machine learning and/or computer vision to investigate methodologies and develop pipelines for projects such as:
* Latent-Space Refinement – encoders that generate latent space representations with progressive-refinement characteristics.
* Dream-Based Encoder Training – generate novel training data from known priors and minimize the resulting training set.
In this role, you will embed with a small, newly formed team of engineers, research scientists, and designers investigating natural human computer interfaces and working to design, prototype, and evaluate novel hardware solutions.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) or twenty four (24) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.
Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
Experience in C++ or Python.
Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
Enthusiasm for experimental design and applied research.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description（岗位职责）
Research and develop methods and pipelines in the domain of computer vision. Write scalable code for such training methods.
Work with the engineering team to integrate the solution with the rest of the processing pipeline.
Generalize solutions for use in other domains.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience with developing ML techniques within larger algorithms and processes.
1+ years experience in CV research.
Demonstrated software engineer experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub).
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op.
