At Facebook, we’re developing the future of AR/VR. Within our Optical Display Products organization, we are building a talented team of hardware engineers with competencies across varying fields. The Front End Of Line Manufacturing Process Engineering will be working closely with engineering partners to understand, develop and implement a manufacturable front end process. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in any engineering field with experience bringing semiconductor processes to mass production for optical devices.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Advanced degree in any engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials) or technical equivalent (Physics, Applied Physics, Optics)
Experience with high volume manufacturing of semiconductor or optical devices
Experience working with an external vendor as a contract manufacturing partner
Self-motivated, experience excelling in a fast-paced CE environment, problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation and multi-functional influence experience
Clear communication skills with cross functional partners and management
Description（岗位职责）
Understand front end process and tool requirements deeply by engaging with technical engineering owners and digesting datasets from proto builds
Influence process convergence as it relates to meeting design requirements and manufacturability
Cooperatively own tool and process specifications with engineering leaders
Communicate specifications to external vendor and drive data validation to support bring up
Partner with external vendor in troubleshooting and correcting any technical issues in process transfer as well as scale up
Support ramp operation and delivery of front end module
Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites if necessary
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
FEOL knowledge - patterning, deposition, etch, cleaning
Experience in optical competency in devices - brightness/contrast, uniformity, MTF
Data processing experience - JMP, Tableau, MATLAB, or equivalent
Design for manufacturing concepts experience - yield, throughput, efficiency, CPK
Vendor management experience - navigate communication channels between internal and external partners
