At Meta, we’re developing the future of AR/VR displays. As a Research Scientist, your job will be finding ways to successfully apply ALD and ALE technology to new optoelectronic devices and architectures to enhance device performance. You will work closely with internal research teams, academic institutions, external partners and vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables, schedule and track project progress. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to success and clearly communicate your work to all stakeholders. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to help our research teams be more efficient.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Ph.D in Materials Science, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar field
5+ years’ experience in ALD technology
Expertise in physical characterization techniques (XPS, Auger, Ellipsometry, SIMS, EDX, XRD etc.)
Experience of working in an industrial or equivalent R&D research environment (2+ years)
Experience in Design of Experiments (2+ years)
Description(岗位职责)
Build and drive roadmap for ALD and ALE processes for advanced III-N and III-P microLED devices
Collaborate with device, modeling, characterization and process teams to facilitate state-of-the-art device structures that meet our unique performance requirements.
Lead external R&D engagements with academic and industrial partners
Designing DOEs, analyzing the data and reporting the key results during meetings
Promote and support innovation to facilitate IP generation as appropriate
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Background in LED or uLED technology
Background in GaN or GaAs material systems
Understanding of optoelectronic device physics, including carrier dynamics and recombination processes in III-N and III-P materials.
Experience in vendor interactions
Project management experience
Strong communication and technical presentations skills.
