At Facebook, we’re developing the future of AR/VR displays. As an Infrastructure and Automation Engineer your job will be in defining and developing technology solutions to support, manage and control our semiconductor fabrication and testing workflows. You will work closely with internal research teams, academic institutions, external partners and vendors. You will help to define requirements and deliverables, schedule work and track project progress. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to your team’s success, and clearly communicate your work to all stakeholders. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to help our research teams be more efficient.
Expect to travel domestically and internationally (4-6 times a year).
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and factory systems
Advanced understanding of Linux (CentOS 7)
Experience in cloud technologies e.g GCP, AWS
Knowledge of coding languages – e.g. Bash, Python
Database management skills (e.g. SQL) and working knowledge of database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL)
Experience with high performance enterprise storage and servers
Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational ability
Communication and problem-solving aptitude
Description（岗位职责）
Providing technical leadership and support to software development teams
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review, develop Statements Of Work) and provide guidance to team members
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
Engage with the corporate Infrastructure and Networking teams to design solutions amenable to the semiconductor hardware development needs
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Work with multiple sites and partner companies
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience building, coordinating and maintaining schedules across multiple teams
Semiconductor industry experience
