Summary（岗位介绍）
Wireless technologies are a crucial part of the Reality Lab Device Technology Engineering team. As the wireless system architecture team, we study the performance of future AR/VR products in complicated radio and network conditions and gain insights for system design. We utilize the latest developments in the wireless industry to develop AR/VR products with wireless capabilities and work towards areas to optimize Meta’s AR/VR use experiences for both short term and long term. We are looking for interns who have a deep understanding of wireless technology, familiar with system level simulations, and have proven analysis and innovation capabilities.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in Wireless Communications, Computer Networks or related fields in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
Deep knowledge of wireless communication and network fundamentals
Proficiency and experience in simulation in C/C++, NS3, and Python
Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
In this role you will be at the center of the Wireless Standards team responsible for current and next generation Wi-Fi protocol design development and analysis, and their usage and performance analysis for AR/VR use cases.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Network level simulation experiences are strongly desired
